First Party!!!!!!

Wow!!!  Well, I just wrapped up my first online Facebook Jamberry Party!!!  I feel REALLY good!!!
It's just been a really good day for me and Jamberry!!! And I REALLY needed a good day.

While I did meet my party goal, I was feeling discouraged that things weren't going as quickly as I wanted them to, or that I wasn't getting the orders I needed.  Especially since, for my personal goal, I only have until March 31 to complete it.

But tonight's party, was just fun!!!! And I needed that!!!  I love the fact that while I was technically "working", I was just sitting there having fun on Facebook!!! How many people get to say that?
Plus, I think that perhaps I had a successful meeting and business contact today!!  I really enjoyed it.

I was at an appointment for one of my kids, and I was checking them in and noticed that the receptionist had on bright purple (my favorite color btw), polish.  And she is a bubbly lady, full of personality and very nice.  So when we were checking out I took the opportunity to hand her a catalog, and she was SO excited!!!!  She was probably the most excited person I have ever met...when handed a catalog, and we got into a conversation and it just went really well.  I had such a positive feeling!!!

I had to go back that afternoon because I had scheduled a last minute appointment for one of my other children, and so I made her an accent nail sample pack, and included the instructions, a handwritten card thanking her for her interest, a full sheet of accent nails, an alcohol wipe and a 7 day challenge card, plus a hostess brochure.  When I checked in for my afternoon appointment, I handed her an envelope and told her I had a gift for her.  I went to sit down in the waiting room, and I could hear her laughing with excitement!  She was so EXCITED!  And it made me HAPPY!  I felt like I was HELPING her!!!  It's weird, it's nail wraps, but I felt like I was helping her because apparently doing her nails is something she loves to do.

I will always remember her, and I hope, despite the vast amounts of people she sees every day that she will remember me too. I left feeling very good about everything.  I didn't even really care so much about meeting my goal at that moment, as I was starting to feel confident that this is something that I really CAN do!!!  It was a boost that I needed when I was starting to get discouraged.

I DO care about meeting my goal.  But now I feel more confident that I can do it.

I'm meeting more and more people who notice my nails now, and I am getting better at applying them.  My party tonight went so much better than I had ever dared hoped.  Sales had nothing to do with it, fun, and interaction had everything to do with it.

Jamberry has gotten me to start coming out of my shell.  Jamberry has given me something positive to do and work for and goals to attain, where I see results.  As a stay at home mom to kids, some of whom have emotional or mental disorders or issues, it is something that I have needed.  I only wish I would have discovered it earlier.

I see a future for myself and my family now.  I see changes happening, changes that I am a part of making, and it feels good!!!
